Description

This is a row of six houses on Etnam Street in Leominster, dating from the earlier 19th century. They are built of brick, with a Welsh slate roof and three brick ridge stacks, one at the front right and two at the rear right. The houses have a four-unit plan, with number 62 being slightly larger. They are two storeys high with a cellar, and feature a nine-window front. The windows are 6/6 sashes, set under grooved stucco lintels, with brick modillion eaves. The entrances are matching, with four-panel doors (those at number 62 being 20th century replacements) and plain overlights, all topped by a moulded wooden entablature on plain pilasters. The left returned side of the building has two tiers of 6/6 sashes, with 3/6 sashes above, also under stucco lintels. The gable has scrolled and pierced bargeboards, topped with a pendant finial. The rear of the building also has 6/6 sashes. The interiors have not been inspected.
