Description

A row of six houses dating to around 1800, with later 19th and 20th century alterations. The houses are constructed of red brick, with some areas rendered and colourwashed. They have slate roofs, featuring three ridge stacks, one truncated stack, and a small gable stack. The houses are arranged over three storeys and have twelve bays in total. The front elevation displays a varied arrangement of panel doors with overlights and pilaster surrounds, alongside plain and glazing bar sashes, and fixed windows. The pattern is a panel door, a plain sash, another panel door, a fixed light, a sash, a door with a pediment, a sash, a pilaster door surround, a sash, a pilaster door surround, and finally two sashes. Upper floors contain twelve sashes, with those on number 16 exhibiting glazing bars. The uppermost floor features twelve smaller sashes; one on number 16 retains glazing bars, whilst the other is a 20th-century casement. The rear of the houses is not described.
