Description
This is a disused water tower located about 500 metres north-west of Upper Moor Lodge, built in the 1820s, likely by George Phillips Manners of Bath. The structure is made of rubble and originally had three storeys, although all floors, the roof, and the staircase have been lost. It features a crenellated parapet and lancet windows on the first and second floors, with the second-floor windows having deep external chamfers. The entrance is located in the west wall, framed by a triangular wooden structure beneath a segmental stone arch. The tower is a prominent feature in the local landscape.
