Description

This is a barn located about 10 meters north of the Unicorn Hotel, dating from the 16th century with an extension from the 17th century and some repairs from the late 19th century. It features a timber frame that is weather-boarded, standing on a coursed rubble plinth, and is topped with a pantile roof. The barn consists of three framed bays arranged in an east/west orientation, with the eastern bay being the 17th-century addition. The framing includes four square panels in height, and the gable-end trusses are supported by V-struts above the collar.
