Description

Riverside Cottage and 2 Riverside Cottage are a pair of houses dating from the early 18th century, with later restoration and additions made in 1989. The houses are constructed of brick and have a 20th-century pantile roof and a single ridge stack. The eaves are cogged, and the gables are coped. The three-storey front has a two-window range on the left, with segment-headed six-pane sashes. The right window is smaller. Above these, a 20th-century single-pane window is visible, alongside a two-light casement to the right. On the ground floor to the right is a close boarded door, with a three-light casement to its right and a small casement to its left, alongside a garage door. The right gable features two six-pane sashes, the right one segment headed, and above, a central segment headed two-light casement. Below, a three-light casement is present, with a larger segment headed three-light casement to its right.
