Description

The pair of houses at 27 and 29 Pelham Street date from the early 19th century. They are constructed of brick with pantile roofs, featuring cogged eaves and two gable stacks. The houses are arranged over three storeys and have a three-window front. The central window is blank, and is flanked by a 20th-century casement window to the left and a sash window with glazing bars to the right. The windows above are similarly arranged, but smaller. The ground floor has a pair of doors with overlights; the door to the right has six fielded panels, and a scraper with an ogee head is situated between the doors. To the left is a 20th-century casement window, and to the right a sash window with glazing bars. Later 20th-century alterations have been made.
