Description

33 Millgate is a house dating from around 1730, constructed of brick and topped with a 20th-century pantile roof. The building features first and second floor bands, dentilled eaves, coped gables, and a single 20th-century ridge stack. Most openings have segmental heads. It has two storeys plus attics and a two-window range of two-light Yorkshire sashes. Above this, there is an off-centre gabled dormer with a plain Yorkshire sash. Below, there is a near-central 20th-century close boarded door flanked by single Yorkshire sashes. To the right, there is a round-headed entry with a close boarded door, and above it, a cast iron plate inscribed "TAYLOR'S YARD".
