Description

This is a house, dating to circa 1750, with alterations made in the late 19th century and the 20th century. It is constructed of brick, with a pantile roof. The house has a 20th-century rendered plinth, a first-floor band, rebated eaves, a gutter supported by brackets, and a single rear wall stack. It is two storeys high with a two-window range of two-light glazing bar Yorkshire sashes. Below, an off-centre 20th-century door is flanked by single, similar sashes, all with segmental heads. To the right is a round-headed entry with a 20th-century door. Above it is a cast iron plate inscribed "Cottams' Yard".
