Description
30 and 32 Millgate are two houses that have been combined into one. They were built in the late 18th century and restored in the late 20th century, with a late 20th-century addition at the rear. The building is made of brick and features a hipped pantile roof. It has a rendered plinth, bands at the first and second floors, and dentilled eaves. There are single stacks on the side and rear walls. The windows are Yorkshire sashes with glazing bars, and those on the ground and first floors have segmental heads. The building has three storeys and a four-window range, with the second window from the left being blank. The upper floors have similar window arrangements. On the ground floor, there is a central window flanked by two close boarded doors, with additional single windows beyond. The right end of the building has two blank windows on each floor, and on the ground floor, there is a Yorkshire sash window to the left and a flat-roofed addition to the right with a close boarded door.
