Description

35 and 37 Millgate are former houses and a shop, now converted into flats, dating from around 1840. The building is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has a pantile roof. It features a plinth, wooden eaves and gutter, and a single gable stack that was rebuilt in the late 20th century. The structure has two storeys and a three-window range of glazing bar sashes with rendered rubbed brick heads. On the ground floor, there is a full-width pilastered wooden shopfront that includes a large central glazing bar window flanked by single moulded four-panel doors with overlights, all beneath a continuous cornice.
