Description

This building, originally a house and now serving as offices, dates from the mid-18th century with a late 18th-century addition. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and features a slate roof. The design includes a plinth, sill bands, moulded eaves, and a pediment, with a gutter supported by brackets and two gable stacks. The central section projects and is topped with a pediment, featuring a single window. The windows have flat arches adorned with multiple keystones. The building has three storeys and a four-window range of glazing bar sashes arranged in a 3/1 pattern, with four smaller sashes above. The ground floor has a central elliptical arched recess with imposts that contains a moulded doorcase topped with an open pediment on consoles. The entrance features a margin stile panelled door with a fanlight, flanked by single round-headed scrapers. To the right, there is a single sash window, followed by a blank opening and a panelled door with a fanlight, flat arch, and keystone.
