Description

A pair of houses located on Main Street, Calverton, built in the early 18th century and altered in the mid-19th century. The houses are constructed of brick with a plain tile roof, featuring a rendered plinth and gables. The gables have cogged eaves and shouldered copings. There are single ridge and two gable stacks. The houses are arranged as two storeys over four unequal bays, with a single range and a lean-to addition to the rear. The windows are primarily 19th-century casements. The front doors are set within 20th-century weatherboard gabled porches, alternating with two casement windows, all with segmental heads. A lower mid-19th century addition is present to the right, with a 20th-century casement window on the ground floor, and three casements above.
