Description

A pair of houses dating to around 1800, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. The houses are constructed of brick with stone dressings and have hipped slate roofs. They feature cogged eaves and front and rear wall stacks. The windows are mainly glazing bar sashes with rubbed brick heads. The houses are three storeys high and have a two-window range to the front. The upper floors have two smaller sashes each. The ground floor features a large 20th-century glazing bar casement to the left and a sash window to the right. Doors are located near the center of the east and west sides; the west door is sheltered by a mid-19th century projection supported by iron posts. A dwarf brick boundary wall runs along the outside, with brick and stone copings, two gateways, and six obelisk-shaped stone piers.
