Description

A house and three adjoining cottages, dating to the late 18th century and early 19th century, remodelled in 1987. The building is constructed of brick with pantile roofs. The main house, facing the street, has cogged eaves, coped gables, two gable stacks, and a catslide roof to the rear. Most windows are segment-headed casements with glazing bars. The front elevation features two triple casements, with a two-light casement above to the left. A central, segment-headed doorway is flanked by single casements with shutters. The right gable, also facing the street, has a two-light casement with shutters to the right, and two smaller garret casements above. A two-window range to the left has a triple casement on the right. A 20th-century glazed door is located to the left, with a 20th-century flat-headed casement with shutters to the right. A gabled wing to the left has a central ridge stack. The front gable contains a 20th-century louvre window and a two-light casement below. The left side of the building has irregular 20th-century fenestration, including a garage door and a French window. The interior features reused beams and joists, with the central range containing two stud walls and several plank doors.
