Description

No. 7 Grimsby Road is a house from the early 19th century, built of brick with stucco dressings and a pantiled roof featuring two end stacks. The building has a two-storey, four-bay front with a dog tooth eaves course. The entrance is off-centre and consists of a six-panelled door with a milled upper frame and a plain overlight, set in a wooden doorcase with engaged triple fluted Doric pillars, a plain frieze, and an open pediment adorned with flutes and a Greek key pattern on the archivolt. To the left of the door are two glazing bar sashes. On the first floor, there are four additional sashes, with a small triangular-headed fixed glazing bar light between the centre pair, likely a later addition. All sashes feature rusticated splayed stucco lintels.
