Description

No. 57 Scotgate is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall. It is constructed in ashlar with the side rendered, and it features a stone slate roof with a single brick chimney stack. The front has one window with a marked keystone, which is a double-hung sash with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is a three-light window, also double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The entrance consists of a four-panel door topped by a rectangular fanlight, also with a keystone. The building has a plinth and is part of a group with Nos. 57 to 59 Scotgate.
