Description

The Green Man Public House is an 18th or early 19th century building of two storeys and attics, located on the south side of Scotgate. It is constructed of ashlar and has a stone slate roof with three hipped dormers. The front elevation has three windows, each with a triple keystone, and no glazing bars. There are two doors, one of six panels and the other of four panels, both with small rectangular fanlights. A small plaque sits below the eaves of the building, accompanied by a moulded cornice. The building forms a group with numbers 29 to 41 on Scotgate.
