Description

This building on the north side of Scotgate likely dates to the 18th century. It is a one-story building with an attic, constructed from coursed rubble. It has a mansard roof, which is stone-slate, with two dormers, and modern casement windows. The ground floor has been largely rebuilt, featuring a canted bay and a modern door. It is included as part of a group value context alongside numbers 57 and 59 Scotgate.
