Description
9A Barn Hill is a Grade II* listed building dating from 1671, located on the east side of Barn Hill, adjoining Stukeley House to the north. This simple two-storey cottage is constructed from ashlar and features a stone slate roof. The first floor has two modern windows, while the ground floor has two three-light sash windows, one of which includes glazing bars. There is a blocked door and a six-panel door beneath a three-light rectangular fanlight. The building has a plinth and an inset foot scraper. It is part of a group with No 9 and retains its listed status primarily due to this association. The garage premises to No 9A, along with Nos 9, 10, the Sunday School, and Nos 12 to 17 (consecutive), as well as Nos 1 to 8 (consecutive) on All Saints' Place, form a cohesive group.
