Description

58 Scotgate is a 17th-century building located on the north side of Scotgate. It stands two storeys tall with attics and is rendered. The roof is made of stone slate and features one sloped dormer. There is a brick chimney built on stone. Above a canted bay, there is a three-light window with modern glazing. The entrance has a panelled door framed by a reeded 19th-century surround. To the left, there is a plain door set in a moulded architrave. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 57 to 59, which are consecutive.
