Description

This is a 17th-century building that was refronted in the 18th century, located on the south side of Castle Street. It is two storeys high with an attic, and is constructed of brick with a rendered finish. The roof is covered in old tiles and features two dormers. The front of the building has two windows with four panes per window, and a three-panel door with a modern top light, all sheltered by a flat board hood. There is a wing at the rear of the property. Interior features include chamfered ceiling beams with run-out stops. The windows are sash windows, and the dormers are gabled casements. Nos. 29 to 39, which includes this building, form a cohesive group.
