Description

29 Castle Street is an 18th-century building that has been altered. It is constructed of stucco and features an old tiled roof. The building has a basement, two storeys, and attics. There are two sash windows set in reveals with glazing bars. The north side has plain pilasters and a modillion cornice. On the east side, there is a doorhood with cut brackets and a tall arched staircase window, situated under two gables that have ornamental bargeboards. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 29 to 39 (odd).
