Description

Nos 50 and 52 Castle Street are buildings from the 17th century or early 18th century that have been refaced in stucco. They feature an old tiled roof and a brick cornice moulding. The buildings are two storeys high with attics and have two gabled casement dormers. There are two triple light casements with small bracketed hoods on the ground floor, and No 50 has glazing bars. Steps lead up to the doors, which also have cut bracketed hoods. To the left, there is a single-storey wing with one window. The back gable is timber framed. Nos 48 to 58 (even) form a group with these buildings.
