Description

These are two 18th-century buildings located at 56 and 58 Castle Street. They are constructed of red brick with a stuccoed front and have an old tiled mansard roof. The buildings are two storeys high and feature three flush casement windows with glazing bars. A stone panel on the first floor to the right is inscribed with the initials "I M" and the date "E 1734". Modern doorhoods and a brick wing have been added. Buildings 48 to 58 (even numbers) form a group.
