Description
No. 7 St Mary's Street is a building dating from 1671, featuring a late 18th century front elevation. It stands three storeys tall and is constructed of ashlar stone. The roof is made of stone slate and has two brick stacks at the gable ends. The building has one window on the first floor, which is a double-hung sash with glazing bars. The first-floor window is from the 19th century and consists of four lights, flanked by wood pilasters and topped with a cornice that breaks a stone band. The ground floor includes an early 20th century and modern shop front. The side of the building is made of brick. This property is part of a group that includes Nos. 2 to 26 St Mary's Street.
