Description
No. 8 Ironmonger Street is a late 18th-century building that stands three storeys tall with attics, constructed from ashlar stone. It features a small coved eaves cornice and a mansard roof covered with stone slates. The building has two dormers with sliding sash windows that include glazing bars, and three double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, all with banded cills. The shop front, which dates from the late 19th century and includes modern elements, has plain pilasters. To the right, there is a six-panel door topped with a glazed rectangular fanlight. Additionally, there is a round-headed passage entrance on the side, which is adorned with a short triple keystone. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 7 to 14 Ironmonger Street.
