Description

No. 6 Ironmonger Street is an early 19th-century building constructed from coursed rubble with rusticated stone dressings. It stands three storeys tall, with red brick on the left side. The building features three windows that have rusticated surrounds and flat arches, with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. The ground floor has a modern shop front, while the entrance boasts a late 19th-century door with six fielded panels set in an ashlar surround, topped with a carved ornamental head. No. 6 is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 6 (consecutive) and No. 6a.
