Description
No. 3 Ironmonger Street is an early 18th-century building that stands two storeys high with attics, constructed from coursed stone. It features a stone slate roof with three hipped dormers that do not have glazing bars, along with a brick chimney stack. The building is adorned with a heavy moulded dentil cornice and rusticated quoins. There are three windows with stone surrounds, each having a small keystone and double-hung sashes with glazing bars. A band runs between the storeys. The central entrance has a modern plain door set in a frame similar to that of the windows. To the left, there is a bowed ground floor window with glazing bars and another window nearby. The remains of a plinth can be seen to the right. This property is part of a group that includes Nos. 1 to 6 and No. 6A.
