Description
No. 38 Broad Street is a mid-18th century building that stands two storeys high with attics. It is constructed from coursed rubble and features stone dressings on the quoins and windows. The roof is made of stone slate and includes two hipped dormers with casement windows. The building originally had four windows, but only the heads of these windows remain on the ground floor, which is now above a modern shop front. This property is part of a row of similar buildings located in Ironmonger Street, specifically forming a group with Nos. 36 to 40.
