Description
No. 10 on St Mary's Street, which includes a warehouse behind, is a building from the 18th century, possibly with earlier origins. It has two storeys and is finished in painted stucco. The steep roof is covered with stone slates and features two dormers. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars. There is a moulded eaves cornice with small dentils above a bowed window on the first floor, which has three lights and double-hung sashes with glazing rears. On the ground floor, there are two bowed windows with glazing bars that flank a modern door set within a pilastered architrave. The entrance has a modern step and modern tiled stall risers. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 26 on the same street.
