Description
The Bluebell Inn is an 18th-century building located on Whitecross Street. It is two storeys high, constructed in stucco with a pantile roof and a diagonal-set brick eaves cornice. The roof is hipped to the right. The front features four flush windows with hung sashes and glazing bars. To the right on the ground floor, there are a pair of modernised windows with segmental heads, while to the left, there are two windows with glazing bars. The entrance has a modern door, and there is a plinth at the base. At the rear, there is a taller brick wing that is also two storeys high, displaying tumbled brickwork on the gable ends. The Bluebell Inn is part of a group that includes Nos 8 to 20 (even), the premises occupied by Leavers Warehouse, and Nos 55 and 57, with local interest attributed to No 12 and the premises occupied by Leavers Warehouse.
