Description
Ye Olde Harrow Inn is a 18th-century building located at 3 Buckingham Street. It has two storeys, an attic, and a cellar, with a colourwashed stucco exterior on a projecting plinth. The building features a wide flat eaves cornice and an old tiled roof, which includes two dormers. On the first floor, there are two windows that are four panes wide, along with one fixed leaded light. The ground floor has two angular bays with modern lead lights and a 19th-century door. At the back, there is a timber-framed gable. Inside, there are chamfered ceiling beams. It is suggested that careful restoration might uncover additional interesting features, and the main structure may date back to earlier than the 18th century. Ye Olde Harrow Inn is part of a group that includes Nos 3 to 11 (odd).
