Description
No. 4 Cambridge Street, formerly known as The Barleycorn Public House, is a 17th-century building that was refaced in the 19th century. It is constructed of stucco and has an old tiled roof. The building is two storeys tall with an attic, featuring two first-floor flush casements with glazing bars. The ground floor has two 19th-century triple-light sash windows with cornices; the cornice on the right extends over the central doorway. Nos. 4 to 10 (even) form a group, exhibiting group value.
