Description

The Volunteer Inn is an 18th-century building that has been altered. It stands two storeys high and is rendered, topped with a pantile roof. There is one gabled dormer. On the first floor, there are two modern casement windows, each with two lights. The ground floor features two windows with three lights and a door that is framed by a Doric surround. The Volunteer Inn, along with Nos 11 to 23 (odd) and Nos 27 to 37 (odd), forms a group, although Nos 27 to 33 (odd) are of local interest only.
