Description

Nos 11 and 12 on St Mary's Street are mid-18th century buildings that stand two storeys high with attics. They are constructed from stone featuring channeled rustication at the corners. The old slate roof is adorned with three gabled dormers, each fitted with double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars. A well-crafted moulded cornice runs along the eaves. The buildings have a 19th-century shop front that includes a carved panelled fascia and arcaded windows with two and three lights. The entrance door consists of two fielded panels and is partially glazed. Nos 2 to 26 on St Mary's Street form a group with these buildings.
