Description

Nos 7 and 8 Maiden Lane are mid-18th century buildings featuring two storeys and attics, constructed in ashlar stone. They have a Mansard roof made of stone slates and three double-hung sash windows with glazing bars on the first floor. The ground floor includes two modern shop windows and a door, along with an eight-panel door leading to a passage entry that has a blocked four-centred arch. The rear elevation displays wide gabled roofs, and part of a medieval buttress can still be seen. Nos 2, 3, and Nos 5 to 10 Maiden Lane are part of a group with these buildings.
