Description
Orme House is a building dating from 1671, located on the east side of Maiden Lane, specifically at No. 13. This mid-18th century structure features two storeys and attics, constructed in ashlar stone. It has a mansard roof covered with stone slates, adorned with a modillion eaves cornice. The house includes two flat-topped dormers, both fitted with hung sash windows that have glazing bars. There are also two additional hung sash windows with glazing bars, while one ground floor window lacks glazing bars. The entrance features a six-panel door topped by a semi-circular open pediment. The building has a plinth and a foot scraper. Orme House was formerly listed as part of a group with Nos 25 and 26 St Mary's Street.
