Description
Nos 25 and 27 on Frenchgate are mid-18th century buildings that stand three storeys tall. They are constructed from coursed stone and feature three brick chimney stacks. The front has three windows with plain reveals, small keystones, and plain stone sills, all fitted with hung sashes that include glazing bars. The ground floor has two shop fronts from the 19th century. There are also two doors, each with four panels and a rectangular fanlight above, set in slightly segmental arched doorways that have keystones. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 27 (odd) and Nos 31 to 43 (odd).
