Description

19 Frenchgate is a late 18th century or early 19th century building that stands three storeys tall. The exterior features roughcast and some brick, with the ground floor being rough-rendered. It has two windows with cemented surrounds and glazing bars on the top storey. The building includes a late 19th century shop front with an entablature. The doorway is framed by stone pilasters and has a cornice and entablature above, leading to a plain door. The roof is covered with modern asbestos pantiles. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 27 (odd) and Nos 31 to 43 (odd).
