Description
Nos 18 and 20 on Endless Street are a mid-19th century pair of buildings. They stand three storeys high with an attic, constructed of red brick featuring grey brick quoins. The buildings have a toothed brick eaves cornice and a gable end slate roof that includes two round-headed dormers. The upper floors have four windows, which are recessed sashes with flat stucco arches and keystones, as well as moulded sills. On the ground floor, No 18 has one similar window, while No 20 retains the remains of a plain shop front with a cornice. Each building has panelled doors at either end, topped with rectangular fanlights, and the doors are deeply recessed with panelled reveals. The doorcases are plain, featuring carved fluted brackets supporting moulded cornices. Nos 16 to 26 (even) form a group with these buildings.
