Description
33 St Mary's Street is a building from 1671, located on the south side of St Mary's Street. It is similar in style to the adjacent properties numbered 31 to 39. This early 19th-century structure has two storeys and is constructed from coursed rubble with an old slate roof. The façade features two windows, each with rusticated architraves and double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. A band runs along the cills, and there is a moulded wooden eaves cornice. The ground floor has a plain late 19th-century shop front with a rendered stall riser, and the corners of the building are accentuated by rusticated quoins. The buildings numbered 27 to 40 in sequence form a cohesive group.
