Description
These are a pair of early 19th-century buildings on the south side of Broadway, altered subsequently. They are two storeys high and have a symmetrical four-window facade. The buildings are constructed with gault brick, with a stone cornice and a brick string course. They feature square-headed recessed sash windows with stone architraves and retain their original glazing bars. A carriage entrance is located on the left, with a modern architrave, and a modern shop front is on the right. The buildings are part of a group that includes numbers 7 to 13 (odd), number 17, and numbers 21 to 39 (odd), along with the shop adjoining number 1.
