Description

This is an 18th-century building of two storeys with attics, located on the south side of Broadway. It is constructed of painted brick with a slate roof and a bracketted eaves cornice. The building has four windows, fitted with early 19th-century sash windows with glazing bars. A carriageway arch, featuring a semi-elliptical head, is located on the right-hand side, while a modern shop front occupies the left. Two flat-topped dormers are visible in the roof. The building forms a group with numbers 1, 7 to 13 (odd), number 17 and numbers 21 to 39 (odd), including the adjoining shop.
