Description

1, Palmerston Street is an 18th-century building of two storeys and an attic. It is constructed of brick with a moulded eaves cornice and an old tile roof, with one dormer window slate-roofed. The upper floor has two sash windows with architrave frames, each with three panes. On the ground floor, there is a small, early 19th-century shop front featuring three lights, a glazed door, angle pilasters, a plain frieze, and a flat, moulded cornice hood supported on cut brackets. The building forms a group with the other listed buildings numbered 70 to 84 (even) and 47 to 55 (odd) in Palmerston Street.
