Description

This is an early 18th-century building of two storeys with attics, located on the south side of Broadway. It is constructed of painted brick with a tile roof, and features a decorative band separating the storeys. The building has four windows, later sash windows, and two dormers with moulded cornices. A 19th-century bay window with an enriched frieze and dentilled cornice is situated on the left side of the ground floor. A carriageway is present on the right, with a six-fielded-panelled door and a rectangular fanlight above. The eaves are finished with a wooden modillioned cornice. Number 37 forms a group with numbers 1, 7 to 13 (odd), 17, and 21 to 39 (odd), along with the adjoining shop at number 1.
