Description

No 36 on St Mary's Street is a building from 1671, constructed in coursed rubble and featuring three storeys. It has a moulded eaves cornice supported by small modillions. The building slightly projects forward from the adjacent properties at Nos 5 and 37-39. It has five windows, each with rusticated architraves and double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. A band runs along the cills. The shop front and door have been modernized. Nos 27 to 40 on the street form a group with this building.
