Description
41 and 43 Eastborough is a building dating from around 1850, constructed from red brick and featuring five storeys plus an attic. The right corner of the building curves to connect with Nos 37 and 39. It has sill bands on the first and second floors and a moulded eaves cornice. The roof is a low-pitched hipped slate design, with two flat-roofed dormers that have glazed cheeks. The upper floors contain three windows, with the right window set on the curve; these are recessed sashes with intact glazing bars and flat gauged brick arches. The ground floor features two mid-19th century shop fronts with pilaster frames, altered glazing, panelled doors, a frieze, and a common moulded cornice. Nos 37 to 43 (odd) are part of a group.
