No 38 on High Street is a building dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It features a three-storey facade made of painted brick, topped with a tiled roof that has coping and one dormer. The building has two sashes with intact glazing bars and two curved three-light bow windows on the first floor. There is a later shop front and a Romanesque cellar.
