No 36 on High Street is a restored 16th-century timber-framed house that stands two storeys tall and is plastered. It features a renovated tiled roof with a gable that has restored bargeboards and a three-light mullioned window. The first floor includes an oriel window. There is a later shop front added to the building. Additionally, it has medieval cellars. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 37 to 46 consecutively, as well as Nos 48 and 49.
