Description
The Cherry Tree Inn is a 17th-century timber-framed building that has been refaced in brick. It stands two to three storeys tall with painted brickwork. The left side features a hipped roof, while the right side has a gambrel roof, which includes weatherboarding in the gable. On the right side, there is one mullioned casement window and one sash window on the first floor, along with three ground floor windows, some of which have cambered arches. A part stringcourse runs along the building. There are also two early 19th-century doorcases, each with flat wooden hoods supported by console brackets. The Cherry Tree Inn forms a group with Nos 35 High Street.
